Offered is a very desirable Gela tetradrachm from ancient Sicily. Struck in Gela between 480-470 BC on a 29mm silver flan weighing 15.5 gm. Slow quadriga right with Nike flying above and a palmette with tendrils below. Head of man-headed bull right with a short beard. The palmette with tendrils obv.
