A very small percentage were actually struck during his short lifespan and only from 336 to 323 BC--a mere 13 years! Minted in Tyrethe site of Alexander the Great's Spectacular Siegeone of his most famous Battles. Tyre, Phoenicia mint, Lifetime issue, dated RY (Regnal Year) 22 of Azemilkos (328/327 BC), King of Tyre and with the Persian fleet during its siege by Alexander the Great in 332 BCsubsequently, Alexander spared Azemilkos life.
